What do I need to do to register for a class?

To secure your spot, pay your registration fee of $150.00 through our online portal and fill out the pre registration form. ALL applicants must come in to complete the registration process even if you pre-register online

South Registration: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 9:30am-1:00pm

Please call (708) 566-4237 to schedule an appointment if you need hours outside of the designated schedule to register. You must pre-register and pay your registration fee to hold your spot. 

What do I need to bring with me to register?

Please bring to Registration:

·         Valid State Picture I.D.

·         S.S. Card

·         H.S. Diploma or Transcript /GED certificate

·         And your beautiful Smile! 

Must be at least 16 years of age with a valid Social Security Number (SSN). Registration fee and any down payments received will be credited towards the total cost of the program. 


A physical exam from a licensed practitioner with PPD Mantoux Test (TB test)/Quantiferon Gold blood test/negative chest x-ray is due before the second week of class.  We will accept any health requirements completed within the past year. All physical forms must be stamped by the medical office. 

What is included in the cost of the tuition?


Books, uniforms, vital sign supplies (this does not include wrist watch or shoes),  CPR, and background check are currently included in the cost of tuition. 

What days do I Have to attend class?


Our 6 week course currently meets MWF -Day course (where available) and MWSat-Eve course. Theory is currently online due to pandemic precautions. You must have a laptop/desktop to participate in this course. 

When do I take my state exam?


Upon successful completion of the training program, you are eligible to take the state exam. Please visit www.nurseaidetesting.com , select Nurse Aide Students>Registration and Paper Based Exam Dates. Choose a Exam Date past the completion of your training program. If you would like to take the computer based testing, a list of dates and locations will come up once you have logged in and entered the portal. All available sites will be displayed. Online options are limited but available due to pandemic restrictions. Call (877) 262-9259 if you have more questions. ​Scott School of Careers will assist you in registering for the state exam if needed. After completion of the training program,  you will receive an email from support@dxgroup.com with the subject NATCEP: Register for Illinois Nurse Aide Testing Competency Exam. Follow the instructions and link from this email to create your account and complete your registration for the exam.

I lost my BLS card (CPR), how do I get a new one?

Go to https://ecards.heart.org/student/myecards and follow directions on how to reprint your ecard.

What if I need a copy of my SSC Transcript? 

Please access the home page to pay the $10.00 fee for any copies you need. Email us your graduation date and allow 3 business days for processing. You may pick up or request an emailed copy of your documents.
